Uniform specifications: 

Coat- A light infantry jacket, Madder red, with Royal Blue facings. the tails are short,  9" from the ground when kneeling, RP buttons, no lace.

Trousers- white linen, straight leg, no built-in gaiter

Weskit- White linen or wool, small pewter buttons.

Shirt- white or natural 18th century shirt

Hat- Left flop, black, 3" brim all around, black ostrich feather, Black horsehair cockade

Shoes- Black, leather straight last preferred

Stockings- White, but they are covered by trousers & gaiters

Half-Gaiters- Black painted canvas, worn under trousers

Neck stock- Black horsehair, or equivalent.

"CLASS B" Variances-

 Breeches- white wool or linen

Gaiters- Black canvas (wool?)

Smock- over-size shirt to protect uniform while working

Fatigue Hat- British military fatigue hat, or workman's cap
